I've been absent from the blog world for about 2 weeks now, and the reason for that is a complete overhaul of our house. We decided that before the Holidays, a fresh coat of paint to get rid of the terrible orange and yellow all over our house would be a good idea.
All the painting was just finished yesterday, so before and after picture will be up next week!
As soon as paint brushes were washed, we took out our Christmas decorations, so here's a sneak peak of what's up so far.
A wooden "Merry Christmas" sign from Home Sense for $12.99. I just bought it 2 days ago, so it's still there if you love it like I do.
My favourite decoration of all time-the snowman family. Also found at Home Sense for around $15 last year. The small details (hats, scarves) get me every time.
The most beautifully embroidered table cloth, found at JYSK. Our christmas colours are red and gold, so it fits perfectly.
Little bits of sparkle everywhere make Christmas the best time of year. These sparkly pinecones sit in a centrepiece bowl.
An early gift for my boyfriend. All of you girls with gamer boyfriends or sons know how important it was to have this game before Christmas.
We put up our tree last night. No decorations yet, but when they're up, pictures will follow.
How is christmas decorating going for you?
