It's been such a nice week, being my first week off school and all. I feel a little bit revitalized after getting to just hang out at home without any eight page papers looming over my head, but at the same time, I feel like I've been scrambling to get everything done that I've been procrastinating on doing- simply because I only have two weeks off to do it all. In the process of trying to squeeze in long awaited doctors appointments, shopping, visiting, and cleaning, I think I'm forgetting that this is supposed to be my time off. In that sense, I realized that I have a massage/mani/pedi spa package that Chris got me for Valentines day that I still haven't used. I said all month that after exams, I would book my appointment and go, but of course, I start school again in a week and no such spa session has been booked.
I'm going to miss this in about a week.

DIY Curling Wand

After seeing this post on The Beauty Department a while ago, I became obsessed with the idea of curling wands. After thinking about it for weeks, I finally decided to go through with the transformation. In the process, I also had to clean my disgusting curling iron (Helen of Troy 1" I believe) and the difference is amazing.

So happy I finally did it.

I've Missed You.

I have a terrible habit of disappearing from the blog world when exam season hits, so this time around I decided to stay consistent and follow my own pattern.

It's been about three weeks since I last posted, which is horrible, but I feel such a great sense of relief knowing that I get a few weeks off before I start into my summer classes again. Just a two week break is good enough for me.

So, what have I been doing (other than studying and not blogging) for the past three weeks you ask?

First, Holly Muffin had her very first photoshoot. Her pictures turned out amazing, thanks to a photographer friend of mine (check out her site here) and I can't wait to hang these all over my house. We have another shoot for both girls in a few weeks, and I can't wait.

Next it was Chris/Daddy's birthday. We had a delicious dinner, a yummy cake, and a few presents, but nothing too spectacular- just the way we like it.

Finally, it was Easter! We had lots of gifts from family and the Easter Bunny, and of course an egg hunt.

So, that brings us to now. Since Easter Chris and I have been studying and writing papers non-stop. But, it's finally over, and I can breathe.

I've missed you so much blog world.

It's good to be back.
